Stork arriving in mid-October

Roswell, Georgia.-- Married in November of 1998, Katie and Andy Piper are expecting their first child on October 18. The excited parents are anxious to see their son or daughter, and Katie also would like to get the baby out.

At this point in time, the gender of the baby is unknown; not because it wasn't spied upon, but because during the ultrasound, the baby was on its stomach the entire time. Therefore, the determination of the baby's sex was impossible to conclude.

Katie and Andy are busy getting the house in order for the upcoming bundle of joy and source of sleepless nights. Andy and his father, Jack, spent much of Labor Day weekend putting down a sub-floor in the kitchen and removing the old flooring in the bathroom. It looks great. The nursery has been finished for months, although Katie seems to always find something to add to it. Andy recently installed duct work for the dryer to vent under the house as opposed to running through the the kitchen to the backdoor - you never want to expose a baby to too much hot air, although I'm sure he/she will get enough being around his/her father.
